Bent the Wing, Dark the Cloud from the world of Updraft is one of the best world building stories I have read in a long time. I love that universe and in this short story I found myself loving and rooting for the characters as well.

1. The Crystal Stair pt. I: I like this and the idea of Exiled God and his power. Classic feud between King's wives and hungry for power antagonist, but still intriguing. 4⭐
2. Kingspeaker: the build up until near the end is good; but the ending is anticlimactic. Also, the Kingspeaker is a woman? This is a potential idea and I don't have anything against women but...I think it's more fitting for a man's voice to be a, well, man? 3.5 ⭐
