I felt like the Evolution was successful in answering many mysteries from the Unbecoming, but there are still things I am confused about. I get how and why Jude is there, but the ending wasn't so great with Jude showing up to the institution. I'm also still confused about why the doctor is involved in all this? How exactly is she allowed to do a study on unknowing minors without parents consent that causes deaths of teenagers? Maybe I do get it but find it unrealistic. However, the plot was solid and I loved the transition from the first to second book, changing it up enough but keeping the same main issues with Mara there. I felt like there was a bit too much romance for a paranormal book, but it is young adult so I'm not surprised. Noah is cool but honestly there was too much of relationship building for me. But, I really did love it and can't wait for the third to come out in November. Don't know how I'm going to wait that long...
