A luscious novella that made me interested in reading the main series. Interesting setting with interesting characters and nice beats of people who hurt each other but have the possibility of rekindling their love.
My impatient nature made me disappointed that their love story is 3-4 other books away.
Enjoyed the alternating POV between male and female protagonists.
Thought it was interesting that one of the characters sisters was named Bethany as 1). That is my name 2). All the other characters had much more exotic names.
