If you've played the Mafia Trilogy, especially Mafia II and Mafia II, then you're all caught up on the "Rise and Fall Of Sal Marcano". There really was no reason to even create this. We all know playing the game what Sal's rise and fall was. Getting his come uppants in hell is no consolation. The story of what happens to ALL of the Marcano brothers is in the game, and the invention of an old timey gangster Sal murked to become boss does little to propel this as interesting. This book was a waste when there are more pressing issues such as the confirmation of Joe being Lincoln's father and how the hell did he wind up being muscle for Leo. There's also the pesky detail that the game lets you pick the ending, and in one of those endings Sal kills himself contradictory to this story.
