Pretty neutral on this. The message is good, but not anything I haven't already heard, though I'm well read in self development.

I think what’s most important to start off with is that there are parts where I felt jealous of the author’s success. However, just like she says in the book, you can’t compare yourself to another creator‘s journey/path.
I was happy to see that about half of the lessons she is teaching, I have already learned or am in the process of learning.
The activities are awesome tools to work through for growing one’s creativity! I definitely recommend this book to any artist/crafter who is in a rut.

Quick, easy read. Learned a few things from her, reminded me of some things I already knew but wasn’t using. Fun read, pretty much all of the book can be found on her blog.

A few nice ideas in it, but no way to actually carry them out specifically. Oh take more time for your craft, but no recommendation on where to find this.
There was also the laughable suggestion that you could delagate any task that doesn't serve you - sorry but if you're not a multimillionaire this is not realistic!

The first part was good! It had some good journaling prompt questions throughout. I got bored through the last half of the book.

I love Amy Tangerine. This was a fun little book with some food for thought. I didn’t follow the prompts throughout with this initial read, but I might explore them later.

I love Amy Tangerine and her brand so this was a fun read for me!! It was an interactive book with activities to grow. It also had gorgeous hand-lettered quotes the book felt like a work of art.
