And as soon as I started reading, I was hooked!

Katherine Stevens delivers straight up comedy with extra side of sexy!

Cici & Cole are my new favorite couple.

Their story was a headboard banging fun ride that I did not want to end.

I enjoyed the tons of hilarious and ridiculous comedic dialogue between Cici & her best friend Maggie.

The things they did and discussed easily had my cherries bursting from tons of laughter.

And I will never think about our USA presidents the same way again without giggling like a silly school girl and wiggling in my seat.

Such a naughty Cici!!

Funny, sexy & I seriously can't wait to see what Katherine Stevens come up with next.

  It's a must read!

DNF. Way too over the top in trying to be funny.

Too many horrible, horrible euphemisms for penis. Characters making dumb, unrealistic decisions based on not communicating. Distracting repetitive phrases. Everyone can hear everything going on in an office. Even and office with a closed door. Your main characters can't scream every orgasm when essentially having sex in public. Attributing The Scream to Van Gogh is just lazy.

Fun Ride!

This story was so damn funny! It was the perfect romcom IMO! I've been reading so many darker books lately, so it was nice to finally read something so light hearted! There is a teeny bit of angst to keep it interesting, but it was mostly just a fun ride between Cici and Cole!

Who would of thought you could find love in a broken down elevator!

Cici gets stuck in an elevator with Cole, an exceedingly handsome man, and after spending most of the night talking to him and feeling a connection she's never felt before, they have sex and make plans to start seeing each other.

Unfortunately, that's when she discovers that she's her new employee, and their company has a no fraternization rule. The two of them are too into each other, however, and they continue their relationship but keep it secret, especially from her Human Resources Director best friend.

The truth soon comes to light, however, and Cici has to deal with the concequences.
SpoilerHer best friend is a bit too judgmental and her stubborn refusal to even talk got on my nerves a bit, but at least she kept Cici's secret and eventually apologized for her behavior
.

An amusing story about a couple that are adorable together and manage to get their happily ever after by
Spoilerdeciding to start their own firm after getting fired when their secret comes out
.

I had high hopes for this one, because it sounds really cute.
And to be honest it's quite well written, there is some quirky fun banter. I liked Cole a lot. I just don't get to super dizzy and over the top clumsy heroine parts, they for some reason never work for me. The chemistry is great, but the insta-lust was just too much for me. In fact the office tumbles- every other page- kinda started working on my nerves.
Some of the banter was just a tad to quirky for me. It felt a bit like it was trying too hard.
Oh and I am aware that I'll be a minority here. I think loads of my GR friends would love this, in fact I would recommend it to many of them.
It's just not for me.

You know when it feels like the author is trying to hard to be funny? That's how I'm feeling. It's too slap schtick for me.

I can't read another euphemism for genitalia!!
SpoilerPlease do not call his member a 'flesh flute', 'lap rocket', 'meatsicle' or a 'cocktopus.' **gag** And you do not have a 'delicate rose of delight' or a 'love oven.' Also, making love should never be referred to having a 'foreign invader of my castle' or that a 'serpent recently entered my Garden of Eden.'
I'm sure that there are plenty more of these that I am quite happy to miss out on.

Going Down is the second book I have read in as many days that surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. I don't read a lot of comedies as I usually find they are not my sense of humor, so I didn't think I would really enjoy this one. Only I did. It was fun and silly and wonderful to read.

Cici and Cole first meet when they get stuck in an elevator overnight. Cici is fun. A bit clumsy and always having crazy things happen to her, or caused by her accidentally or whatever. She just blurts things out sometimes, not always appropriate things, and she was really cute. She also calls things different names, namely body parts, and normally that would so turn me off to a book, but with her I didn't mind. It was fun. Normally in the middle of sexy time I don't want fun names for body parts, but I liked this one. Cici was kind of a mess but in the best way.

Cole has just started working as Cici's assistant, only she didn't know it until after that fateful night in the elevator. Now what is she to do? They can't seem to keep their hands off each other, but they can't stay together and not lose their jobs. She can't even talk to her crazy bff about it as said friend is the HR Director where she works! So she tries to sneak around with Cole and oh these two. I mean yeah, there is really just a lot of fun sexy times, but I liked it. It was cute. Cici comes up with so many crazy, hair-brained plans and I loved it.

So yeah. Cici and Cole were fun to read. This story had a lot of things that would normally be off-putting, like the fun names for body parts, but with this author it worked. I loved how crazy Cici was and how her mind worked. I can't wait to read more from this author. Hopefully in the next book bff Maggie will find her silly sidekick.
