Cue all the shenanigans.  This series continues to be laugh-out-loud funny and just so much fun to listen to.

I loved this new installment of the Rock Chick series.

Eddie, Lee and Indy all grew up together. They are a tight bunch. Eddie comes in to Fortnum's, the coffee/book store Indy owns, daily for coffee he notices Jet. Jet is quiet and shy, clueless about her good looks. Jet tries to hid from Eddie, Lee and anyone else coming in that intimates her. Jet carries more than she should. She takes care of her mom who had a stroke month's before, because of her stroke her mom's bills are adding up. Jet has taken on two jobs to pay what she can. Jet doesn't have time for a relationship let alone one with a man she thinks she isn't in the same league with.

I love the back and forth between Jet and Eddie. Jet is trying so hard to fight what she feels for Eddie and it's hilarious. The addition of Jet's mom's friends and Daisy's characters into the bunch was genius.

I can't wait to see where Hank's book takes this group!

**I read and reviewed my personal copy of this book for Wicked Reads.**

4.5*s

Jet is laugh out loud funny at times in this book, but also reckless and gets herself into a lot of trouble.

Eddie is sexy, alpha, protective, and tender. He sees right through Jet's "shit" to what she really thinks and feels.

Told entirely in Jet's first person POV, we nevertheless can tell what Eddie is thinking and feeling by Jet's descriptions of his face and body language.

My only disappointment with the book--and this is a big one--is that Eddie
Spoilernever tells Jet that he loves her.
