Very cute. Loved the characters and how it followed Taming of the Shrew. Looking forward to her next book!!

this was just kinda lackluster... the relationship felt forced, the chemistry was lacking, and i didn't really like any of the characters too much. i really wish i liked this ☹

I thought the writing was solid, and the characters were interesting but I just kind of lost steam towards the end of the book and never picked it up again

Brilliant romance. Brilliant representation!

Tropes:
- enemies-to-lovers (like cat-fight enemies LOL)
- guy doesn't believe in love
- fake dating
- dual POV

A sweet, desi, enemies to lovers romance. I loved the fact that Kareena was portrayed as a strong female lead and she refused to lower her standards. And I’m so happy about the representation. I thought certain stereotypes and clichés could’ve been avoided though. I also wished the editor of this book had done a better job-the number of spelling errors, incorrect character names used in certain dialogues, missing words, repeated sentences, etc. was a bit disruptive to me as both an editor and a reader. Overall, it was an enjoyable read (except “Charlie” - that was cringe inducing!).
I’m now looking forward to reading Bobbi and Bunty and Deepak and Veera’s stories. I rate this book 3.5 stars rounded up.
