Unwrapping her Perfect Match by Kat Latham is this first I've read by this author, but it definitely won't be the last. I was hooked in from the first page & was rooting for Gwen & John from page 1. Gwen's insecurities made her feel real and she reacted in a way that I have reacted in the past when people touch on things that hurt from the past. John was misunderstood at times because of his size, but he was a genuinely a good guy who wanted to do right by his daughter and Gwen. John is a rugby player and Gwen is a nurse and part of what helps bond them is Gwen ends up taking care of John after he gets a concussion at one of his rugby games. This story gets 5 stars and I can't wait to read more from both this author and this series.

Rugby players are becoming my favorite sports romance heroes! John never thought that volunteering at his team's fundraising auction would introduce him to the woman of his dreams but nurse Gwen knocks his socks off. Gwen can't quite believe that someone is really interested in her, she's had too many disappointments in her life, so when John blows their first date she chalks it up to fate. But she still can't get him out of her mind especially when he lands in her ER. Their chemistry is off the charts and as they begin to have honest discussions their bond grows. When John's family obligations threaten to tear them apart John and Gwen have to decide if their new love is worth fighting for. Great read!!

Unwrapping Her Perfect Match was such a fun read. Gwen and John were so cute together! A great Christmas read.

John is a rugby player. A day with him is being auctioned off for the holidays, but as soon as Gwen walks in he only wants her to bid on him. He is really tall and Gwen...well she might be the first girl he has met who just fits. She is taller than average too! Now I will say that all the talk of how tall they were got a bit tedious at times, I was just like I get it they are both giant, but not enough to ruin the story.

Gwen didn't want to come to the auction in the first place. She is not good with people, especially guys. She has a lot of skeletons in her past, people who used her and humiliated her, and she is still not over it. She likes to just hide away by herself, but her sister needs her. That is the only reason she is there. When John comes over to talk to her she is not sure what to do. She is attracted to him, but can she trust that he is actually a nice guy?

John and Gwen end up spending some time together and man it was cute and hot and everything. Gwen's insecurities almost ruin things a time or two, but they both manage to work things out. John also has a daughter from France who he loves, but cannot really communicate with. He is terrible at languages and she doesn't know English so it is hard. When John gets a concussion and needs someone to look after him, especially since his daughter is coming to visit for the holidays, Gwen steps up. She is a nurse and she helps John with everything. She is so sweet and it was so cute watching the three of them become a family. Sure there are things to overcome, issues that come up that could force them apart, but they were great together. I loved this read. Perfect for the holidays! Lots of Christmas cheer from decorating to ice skating to Christmas surprises.

This is my first read by this author but I can assure you that it won't be my last. It looks like I have a new series to catch up on.
This was a sweet, funny & sexy holiday story that was just long enough that I can't help but wish for more. I simply can't resist a good sports romance. This time it's rugby and I get to learn some things about a new sport and read a sweet romance. You can't beat that!
It helps when the characters are easy to fall in love with and you are rooting from them from pretty much the very beginning of the book.
Even though I found myself upset with John a couple of times in the book, he was the perfect blend of strong, masculine and vulnerable. Just as Gwen was the perfect blend of sweet, smart and cautious. Their chemistry was palpable and their story is a good example of how to write insta-love the right way.

*I received an ARC from the author/publisher in exchange for an honest review

This is a cutie! I read this after DNFing so many books after the first chapter, this is one that held my interest. The main leads are adorable as well as Agnes and Gwen's family. I love that both main leads are just really good people just always misjudged because of their size. That part when John was talking about how his size is the greatest asset in his professional life but also his greatest weakness with the other aspect of his life.
