I absolutely love Lady Hardcastle and Flo. Admittedly, this one was a little flat for me, however the back and forth between Lady Hardcastle and Flo is always what I am here for so the mystery in each book is almost secondary for me. The mystery was good, dont get me wrong, it was just a bit meh for me. There were a lot of things that were out of the MFC scope and so she had to bring in a lot of others in to fill in logic gaps and I just was not feeling it. I still loved it and I will be reading the rest of them!

I adore these little snippets of mystery to listen to on walks and in the car. They are certainly nothing groundbreaking or anything extremely mysterious but they have lovable characters, plenty of intrigue and wonderful atmosphere. As long as the audiobooks continue to be on KU I will listen!

It's another great installment in the series. This time Lady Hardcastle and her lady's maid have to solve the mysterious deaths of fellow house guests when they are invited to an estate for a spot of car racing. With the usual red herrings thrown in I did not guess who the killer was until it was revealed at the end.
