I've always been a fan of spiders so I was thrilled when a friend recommended this one. I like how this book shows how important spiders are while weaving such a delightful little story.

Love the illustrations in this story about the value of spiders. Margaret Bloy Graham always created characters that were highly appealing to me as a child, and carry me back as an adult. A great readaloud that can be used as a cross-curricular tool.

One star taken off for basically no female characters other than the spider. Other than that, it's delightful and educational! A book that my children enjoy greatly.
