it’s ok maybe a 4star. I might read more in series but it’s nothing special, typical mafia. Edit: I tried to read the second in this series and DnF’d so cringe

Sinful Vows is a single dad, enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, mafia romance.

Elsie is taken at a young age and is sex trafficked and Michel is the soon to be new king of his family mafia. She sees him in a window when he visit where he shw is beinf held. She makes a run for it to get her and her friends help and stops away in his trunk.

His daughter finds her and he soon does as well he is needing a queen for his throne so he makes her a deal to not kill her so he can have a wife for a year to placate his father. She agrees

Alot of tension, if you like the m y wife troupe this is a great one. More plot than I was expecting and heartache. Teddy Hamilton was the narrator when I listen and kinda transported me back to when he did haunting adeline.  Great start to a mafia series.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s my first Lillian Harris novel and I’d definitely read more by her.

Michael is an enforcer for his family within the mafia. He visits a house for a rival family and sees a woman in the window.
Elsie was taken when she was 19 with two of her friends, they have all been missing for 9 years. Elsie sees her opportunity to run when Michael comes by the house, she jumps in his car in hopes of getting away from these evil people. She didn’t count on Michael having his own agenda.

The writing is brilliant in this story, emotions were portrayed well. This is definitely a book where the couple start to feel more for each other in the first half.

Looking forward to reading more.
