I didn’t love or hate this book. It’s a good middle ground for anyone who wants spooky Halloween vibes but don’t love horror. It was well written and the only confusion I did have may have been my fault since I tend to multitask while listening to audio books. I enjoy this authors other books more than I did this one, that could just come down to my preferences.

I loved this book!!   Great book for the start of spooky season. It has Mrs Peregrine peculiar children vibe, but for adults

this book was sweet and heartfelt, but some of its fantasy elements fell a little flat. this book also tried to do way too many things in the third act that could have been spread out a bit more throughout the rest of the story. idk i liked this but it wasn't a major standout read for me
