Best Jack Reacher book yet (and I've read a lot of them!) Struggled a bit getting into it at first, especially as I dont usually like the first person Reacher books, but
once I worked out the opening misdirect/what was really going on
it was impossible to put down. Also enjoyed getting to see more Reacher backstory.

Persuader wasn't my favorite of the Jack Reacher novels. It's told in an interesting way, with the actions of "now" heavily influenced by something Reacher did 10 years ago. It's also... boring. Very little happens in the story, and yet the action is somehow spread out over 300 pages within a very short time span. The reason Reacher is after Quinn is left until far too late - the story within a story doesn't make sense until more than halfway through the book, and even then the "why" isn't very strong until the last few chapters.
