This was, with Fablehaven and Harry Potter, my favourite childhood series, but I have re-read this one the most, don't know why. Probably because of the characters, not action, not plot, but characters are what stuck with me.
Rating: 3.7 stars, but I won't give it 4 for now.

I have a great deal of nostalgia for these books and that's probably biasing my rating (especially as I haven't read any of them in a while). But I was constantly reading and re-reading these for years in my childhood, so there was something in them.
