Perfect friends to lovers book. The way these two came together, is very special. Jill is there to help Johnathan when he is at his lowest. They climb through the story getting closer to each other until they find themselves deeply in love. Great happily ever after!!!

I love Samantha Lind's books so much. They are my favorite kind - sweet & sexy, low-angst, and the perfect length. The Indianapolis Eagles series is one of my favorite hockey romance series so I was excited for this 8th book. We met JC and Jill in previous books and I felt like their pairing was perfect. John (JC) was such a sweet guy, almost unexpectedly so. Jill was a wonderful heroine - sweet, understanding, and independent. I also loved that while their age-gap was mentioned, it wasn't the focus! If you enjoy sports romances, pick this one up today!

This was nice and quite an easy read. I loved John and Jill's story and could not put it down. Or maybe I'm just bias because it's a sports romance.. Their relationship was effortless, the way these two came together. This book also deals with real issues that's real and true to life. And it was resolved pretty nicely.
It is absolutely an amazing read and I'm highly recommending it. It's worth the read!
