I'm only giving it a 3 because I enjoyed her writing style. I HATED being left without any answers. I'd really love to see a second book or even a trilogy come out of this. 😭

I found Christopher irritating. He was so blind when it came to Janie. This book was so frustrating. And what even was that ending? Where is the rest???

I was expecting some twist or something exciting at the end and it just wasn’t there. I feel like the author could’ve done so much more with the ending and it was kinda just blah. Like, there was a feeling of this huge build-up that something was coming throughout the whole story and then the book kinda just ended. It kept my attention all the way though and I was just very let down. It would be hard for me to recommend this book.

This book was very similar to The Push, and though I didn’t love The Push, I liked it much better than this. I didn’t find the characters relatable and had a hard time feeling sympathetic towards them despite the struggles they went through. The plot was mostly frustrating and the ending? Well, there wasn’t really an ending at all. 
Overall, a tense thriller, but felt like I had read it before and the ending is what brought it down to a 2.5 for me.
