I buddy read half of this with @borrowedbyaudrey (IG) and I'm really glad I read it!
As a 33-year-old who is still reeling from friendship breakups, miscommunications, and hurt feelings over past para-social and offline friendships, I found this book incredibly informative, forcing me to reflect on my own connections and my role in them. I think anyone, at any age, could benefit from reading this and learning about how little research there is in friendship, and how little value society places in platonic connections. I had such a lovely, pensive time reading this and highly recommend it.

I ended up listening to this one since the authors have a podcast together and they narrate it. I’m glad I went this route because I tried to read the physical book last year but couldn’t get into it. I liked this one a lot! Especially enjoyed that they talked about the challenges of a biracial friendship.
