Thank you, Michael Joseph Penguin Publishing, for sending this book in a welcome pack in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a self-help non-fiction novel. It is written by self-development coach Roxie Nafousi, this book is a guide to anyone who is wanting to learn about manifesting. In this book there are seven simple steps you can use to understand the power and how to manifest. This book is supposed to help and guide you to whatever you want in the future – whether that’s the perfect soulmate, the perfect job or the dream house – this book can teach you with the seven steps which are: be clear in your vision, remove fear and doubt, align your behaviour, overcome tests from the universe, embrace gratitude without caveats, turn envy into inspiration and trust in the universe. A meeting of science and wisdom, manifesting is a philosophy and a self-development practice to help you reach your goals.

I liked how this book was split up into steps and how there was interactive bits in the book where you can write what you need that is linked with each step. It’s like you were at one of the author’s classes and she asks you to follow the book and fill it in. it’s a very short book which I liked as I think if it was any longer I would have struggled to finish it more than I did.

I liked the fact that the author surrounded it about her journey as a way of being I hit rock bottom and look me now and you can be like me cliché. But I found the other general scenarios and tips cliché. I thought some bits were a bit repetitive especially step seven, I felt like that last step wasn’t needed at all.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about manifesting and who is looking for a short read but overall, I didn’t vibe with this book but I don’t think self-help books are for me.
