I listened to the audiobook of this in two sittings, impatient because life got in the way of listening! I love the Morgan clan so much. They’re so full of life, joy, love, and all the other amazing words I could throw in there. It really makes you want to be a part of that, and Lauren makes us feel like we are. We get to see more of Keane in this as well as being properly introduced to the other brothers we’ve had brief glimpses of. I love them all and I’m eagerly awaiting Kolby’s book!!

I personally found this really fucking stupid for numerous reasons. Do yourself a favor and skip this whole series.

- Miscommunication trope
- Insta-love
- Juvenile
- Cheesy ass dialogue
- Not believable.

I just want to say, I know most romance authors are women. So obviously male characters will be influenced by that. However, this was supposed to be some sexy male, yet it’s sooo obvious that a male wouldn’t act that way. (I’m not trying to put rules on how men should/would/do act). It’s hard to explain it clearly, but normally authors do a good job at nuancing traits to make the male POV believable. This was a hot mess and I regret the two hours spent reading this. I realize now why I originally DNF. I only picked it back up bc a booktuber I liked recommended it...

Great audio, great characters, great light hearted read!!:D

I really loved this book, I listened to the audio, which is 11 hours/ish, and after the first 5 hours i started to get sad that there would only be 6 hours left:)

How fun and entertaining was this! I had a blast reading Captain. I loved the characters, the story line, and the out right fun vibe it had, awesome read!

First off, Tessa and Ryan are in a crazy situation and I loved how it was presented. They had such a spark together and I loved that playful, witty chemistry they shared. It was instant and awesome! I really liked them meeting and reconnecting, and all the missed connections. I'd come across something and totally laugh because it was like they were so close yet so far away from figuring out some very key elements. It was hilarious!

This was filled with so many humorous moments, it made it a blast to read. I also loved that it was dual POV, I loved knowing their thought process and perspectives. This is a pretty light read, there’s a good amount of hot times mixed in with just the right amount of emotion. Nothing super heavy happening, just outright fun. My only thing was it felt a bit drawn out in spots so it had a long feel happening. Sometimes it was a bit over the top with the zaniness but it made it freaking entertaining and fun, I just enjoyed it all!

I enjoyed all the characters and family members and the awesome nick names they had for one another. I liked all the different relationships and the bonding going on between people. There was just this really great group dynamic that made me want to hang out with all of them.

A wild situation for sure but I loved the ins and outs, the bit of angst and anticipation as Tessa and Ryan figure it all out and come together. If you are in need of some light sexy fun, look no further. Captain is just what you need to bring a smile to your face!

DNF @ 75%. This was just so cringey to me. I couldn’t figure out at first why this book wasn’t hooking me. But upon reflection it was a few things. I think I just don’t like the miscommunication trope; it annoys me. The banter between the two main characters was bland and obnoxious at times. The heroine had imho bizarre decisions/behavior. The chemistry was not there although the spicy scenes were okay. It lacked plot and the little plot there was seemed to be so unbelievable to me that I couldn’t take it seriously enough to feel what the author (I think) wanted me to feel. I like books that have me on the edge of my seat, make me cry, make me laugh, make me swoon, make me feel SOMETHING. This did none of those. Overall just not my jam.

I liked this book! I LOL’d a lot through it! but I feel like it was very dragged out and repetitive. but over all it was a good book and will most likely read it again!
