I really liked this book. From my reading history you can tell I don’t read a lot of second chance romance but I enjoyed this one. I loved his redemption and how it wasn’t solely focused on her but also in their child. I will say I do wish Kennedy was kinder to his recovery but honestly I don’t blame her with all she went through and gave up for him.

  • Sad, made me cry
  • Kennedy must be protected at all costs
  • She's so sweet and kind
  • Hope she achieved her dreams
  • Liked Johnny's character development
  • A little hard to sympathize with him though
  • Glad he recovered and got better for his daughter
  • Maddie is a cute book kid, not annoying at all
  • Formatting is a bit strange but got used to it
  • Secondary characters like Meghan and Jack were great. Bethany I could not stand. She was selfish as fuck.
