as promised, better than book 1 but I really have to say that the sex scenes are REMARKABLY embarrassing. I don't understand how a tongue can scrape! It is soft! fae being able to lie is also VERY key to this series, which is why I think she did it.

I definitely liked this book better than the first, but to be honest I also took a long break and kind of forget the beginning. I think there are good parts to it but there’s also just some pretty cheesy and bad writing that made me physically cringe at points haha. I would say, again, it’s better than the first and it’s been a good book to get through quickly because it’s action packed, but I wouldn’t say it’s that good.

it's the abrupt turn on how tamlin is described for me and the lack of any real communication...trying not to be incredibly annoyed by the characterization of convenience
