Suspend reality and just sit back and go with the flow. It you're able to do that then this is a lovely story.

Really sweet story, with a wonderful magic mirror that shows you who your true love is.
This is a fun & lighthearted novella, with a well-written plot.
The magic part of the story is handled really well and it makes for a great premise, very romantic. Here's your one true love, now go and convince him you're not a crazy person :-)
Marc has always identified as straight, so he's in for a bit of a surprise when his true love turns out to be a man. He doesn't let that phase him for long, but he also doesn't shrug it off as though it's nothing. He feels a bit conflicted about it, which makes the story more plausible. Due to his less than perfect family history, Liam finds it nearly impossible to trust in love, and as such to trust in Marc, who really has his work cut out for him.
I liked that things didn't go too easy for the MC's, and that they had to work at getting their HEA. Mostly though, it's Marc doing all the chasing and convincing, and after a while that did start to bug me a little.
All in all, an enjoyable, quick read.
