I really liked this book. I love the way Lauren comes into herself and learns to stand up for herself. She learns that not everything is going to go exactly as planned and every once in a while, things work out for you, not against you. It's a little annoying how she feels sorry for herself all the time, but in the end I think it's important in the development of her character. Lauren is always jumping to conclusions and believing everything that she hears, which makes for really funny drama. The series of misunderstandings only thicken the plot and draw you more and more into the story. The contrast of her completely organized professional life and the utter disaster of her personal life makes for great comic relief. Overall, this is a book that I would put away to read again.

This was basically the book form of a chick flick--different from what I'd consider chick lit, if that makes sense. Total fluff. Completely predictable. But also surprisingly enjoyable. The writing style was easy to read and the characters were, for the most part, likable (or at least entertaining). The book had some parts that were silly (much like any chick flick would), but there were a few good nuggets in there to appreciate. While this book isn't winning any awards, ever, light, fluffy reads have their place too. I'll be looking for the followup book as well, at some point.

I honestly feel that every second I spent reading this book was wasted.

For whatever reason, I just really enjoyed this book. I probably should NOT have been reading it at work, however. I found it extremely funny, and trying not to laugh in a call center can be rather difficult. People tend to look at you oddly if you randomly start laughing, you see. Anyway though, maybe it's due to my upcoming wedding that made me enjoy this book, or maybe it's just my current frame of mind. Regardless, I very rarely give five star ratings to books, so that should say something. Amidst the humor, there were also some very poignant spots. I found myself wanting to reach out and give Lauren a hug, even if she was clearly in the wrong, and don't even get me started on G! This is a book I would highly recommend though, especially if you need a nice light read.

I love romance stories. Some are cheesy, some are hot and steamy, and others are fun. This one was a little bit fun and a little bit cheesy. Lauren meets Nick with her troublesome clients. She gets the wrong impression and things become complicated. I figured out right away what was going on, but it felt like it took Lauren FOREVER to realize it. I was getting a little annoyed with her and wished she would just figure it out. But still. It was a cute book and the characters were fun. Lauren seems a bit eccentric in some aspects of her life. This wasn't the best book I've read and it didn't suck me in as much as some others will, but it was still cute and a fun read.

Cute story about a wedding planner that a lot of things go wrong for. There is misunderstandings, a boss that has her do most of the work, a stalker, and most things that can go wrong with a wedding. There is a lot of humor and a good story flow. Over all a cute read that makes you laugh.

This was really awful, but sometimes I worry that my little library will run out of readable books, so I waste time on books like this that are just barely palatable.
