“You were always mine, Chaos. Five years doesn’t change the fact that it’s always been me. Nobody else had a chance. So, that’s what I want. You. Not just your body. But you. Your personality. Your mind. Your problems. Your goddamn companionship. Because that’s what I’ve missed since the day I watched you disappear into the night. Stop trying to push me away. It won’t work.”

This childhood best friends to strangers to friends to lovers, college romance is book 1 in the Lindon U series. The only thing that keeps me from giving this 5 stars is the FMC. I feel like the author was trying to make us think she was a bad ass, but all I could see was a victim. Granted, Ivy went through hell, and she was a survivor, so I would have liked to see more empowerment.

I really enjoyed this book! I fell in love with the main characters and their personality. Ivy is a sassy bitch and knows how to handle herself and won’t let anyone talk shit about her. And I loved how protective Aiden and caring he was of her. He was always looking out for her and they made the cutest couple.

This book dealt with heavy and serious topics such as self harm and suicide thoughts and it was executed beautifully. However I would not have of minded if it delves more into that side of things such as showing the emotional battle self harm is and how difficult it is to overcome. But then again, I understand why it wasn’t.

This is a sports romance of football and I loved that it included many games and the future of Aiden and how talented he is.

I have no doubt that loads of people will enjoy this book once it has released!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review :)

I really really loved the book, but that .5 part that I didn't liked was the confrontation between Ivy and her parents. Rest was a perfect mixture of emotions♥️

It felt super repetitive & I struggled with Ivy. I enjoyed Aiden and adored Bea (what little we got of her). The ending seemed abrupt and rushed. It was fine. Check the TW before reading.
