The tension. The chemistry. The angst. The emotion. The push and pull. Alpha CEO is an addictive story that I couldn’t put down. I completely DEVOURED this story.

Julian was the man Autumn had always had a crush one. He was her older brother’s best friend. Julian grew up in the foster care system. He was thankful for his best friend and his family. Overtime Autumn and Julian’s friendship started to shift, things were changing between them, but it could never happen and one day Autumn was left completely shattered. Now, a decade later, will they get the second chance or has there been too much pain and heartache between them?

I LOVED these two characters. They both have so many layers that slowly are unraveled throughout the course of the story. I loved getting to see the now and then sides of Julian and seeing how the old Julian was eventually coming back to life. Autumn, she has been through a lot but I love how much she fought for herself and worked hard. The chemistry between them is explosive at times and you can just feel all of the emotions jumping off the page of this story.

This was a rollercoaster. I felt every ounce of pain, the bitterness, the lust, the love, the passion, the emotions. All of it. This story had me laughing, it had me fanning myself, and it had me crying. Several times I found myself saying “oh my god” out loud to an empty room.

If you’re looking for a second chance, best friends sister romance this is one to check out.

This is a rag to riches, broody alpha, second chance, older brother's best friend romance. There was a great push and pull between Julian and Autumn. They had off-the-charts steamy chemistry. I liked the lighter angst and humor in this book. This was the perfect book for the lighter mood that I was in. Plus there are some great twists and turns to the story. I am excited to read the rest of the books in the series.

The only reason this doesn't get 5 full stars is bc of Autumn's revelation on one of the last chapters. But if we don't count that l loved every single second of this book. I adored Autumn except that one time

It hooked me up and didn’t let me go until the end

I really don’t like when books mix chapter in the past and in the present. Having said that, I loved this book nonetheless. I wept when I was reading it and I read in one day, I couldn’t put it down.

reading slump saver!

I kept seeing the author’s TikToks & I was dying to read this book. I was waiting to buy the physical copies but due to my budget it was on hold. Then I couldn’t wait any longer so I bought the kindle version. I regret not doing that sooner! This was a brothers best friend, enemies to lovers, surprise pregnancy masterpiece. Everything I love in a book. I love how you can see how much Autumn grew as a person from the then & now chapters. Julian was so used to flight or fight mentality, so I appreciated seeing how he fought for his family instead of giving up like he did 10 years prior. Highly recommend this book. Again, I’m so mad I didn’t just buy the kindle version sooner. I’ll def be buying the physical copy anyway!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Autumn & Julian
Autumn is focused and protective of her heart. She has an incredible strength about her.
Julian is commanding and persistent and not wanting to loose Autumn again now she’s come back in his life.
These two have major history. He is her brothers best friend and she is off limits for him, though that didn’t keep them apart. It’s been ten years since they’ve seen each other and we’re brought back together in a professional setting.
We get a lot of glimpses into their past that define who they are and their relationship today. I love that they constantly refer to each other by Mr Locke/Ms Troy to try and act like they want nothing but to get the job done.
Their journey is not without angst. They put each other through it but also love each other fiercely. I couldn’t help but falling in love with them and their story.

Unfortunately I didn’t love this the way I thought I would.
The writing wasn’t for me.I couldn’t connect to the story therefore I couldn’t enjoy it.
