♡ Plot Twist
♡ Missing Person Found
♡ Who Should You Trust?

A documentary for a missing woman who suddenly returns after sixteen years.  Bell is left to unravel the true, to find out who was lying to her about what happened that night her mom went missing.  Was she even really taken to begin with?  But Bell soon realizes she can’t trust the people she thought she could.

This was a bit slow but at about the 30% mark it kicked in.  This story was wild and I was so invested.  Each truth Bell found out added to the story so well.  The mystery, the suspense of what really happened when Rachel disappeared was all an addictive read.  I didn’t see some of the twists coming when it came to Rachel’s disappearance.  It was also really entertaining to see some of the behind the scenes of the making of the documentary.

I love a story where all the loose ends are tied up.

never has there ever been a Holly Jackson book that hasn’t been incredible. this one had me on the edge of tears at the end. I genuinely didn’t know how it was going to end and things did shock me, which is hard when you have read as many crime thriller books as I have
Holly Jackson will always be the queen of writing ‘I killed the people who hurt me and now I need to hide the body’

It’s been a long time since I’ve chosen reading over sleep (I’m no longer the 16 year old who could read until 3am) but after hitting a certain point in this book, there was no turning back. I devoured this book in one day and have zero regrets. After the disappointment of Five Survive, I was a little apprehensive about this one but I had no reason to be concerned. This was twisty, addictive and easy to read in the best way. Whilst the ended didn’t quite hit the mark for me, it didn’t matter all too much as I had so much fun on the journey getting there.
