I really really enjoyed this!

It's kind slow but I never got bored. I love that it has multiple POVs only I wish their wouldn't be so long.

At the beginning I didn't quite like Cassie, she's turns out ok and sassy by the end. But the whole parte of the book when she's with Evan. oh my gah I wanted to cringe, she were so bipolar! Didn't quite bought the whole love story there but at the end I'm totally over Evan.

In the blurb people said that Cassie was like the new Katniss. Well, she's not. Katniss is a hell more mature but Cassie is more sassy. a little childish sometimes (the thing about Ben Parrish, fucking lame )

I liked Zombie's pov he was very interesting. I don't like Ringer though. She is Humm I don't know too egocentric.

The writing is really good though, not heavy at all as I was expecting.

I'm really excited to see how this story goes! I'm definitely picking the next book right now!

From the moment on that the rumours started that the movie of this book was going to be launched, I knew I had to read this book as quickly as possible. Therefore the book went to the top of my TBR pile. I hadn’t bought this one, so I didn’t know how quickly I would be able to read it. Luckily I found the audiobook on scribd. Yes, now I could read it as wel.

The fifth is a quick paced book. This is due to the writing style. There is not a lot of depth in the story, but I didn’t expect that with this book. I loved the fact that the book used multiple ‘narrators’. So you learn some more of each character. I did miss some extra explanation for the waves. Now they mention it every now and then, but I don’t feel it as deep as should have, I think. Therefor I wanted some more info. Maybe they will do that in the next books. It is a fun book, but don’t expect something very complex. Now I can’t wait to go look at the movie.

Okay, so.. where do i begin?

I didn't love this book nor I hated it.
I liked it.
Yes, like is enough on the scale!

I didn't feel very connected to the characters though I liked Cassie's narratives. She did sound like an immature teenager, and that, in my opining was the whole point of her character.

I didn't buy the whole love-interests thing. And the love triangle at the end was just confusing. Was it even a love triangle? As I said, CONFUSING!

The writing style was also okay. Nothing too crazy. Just okay.
The plot was all right, I guess. Even though I found it easily predictable, it was still interesting.

Overall, I think this is an interesting read I would totally recommend to sci-fi fans!

3.5 stars. Cassie's POV is sometimes funny but mostly annoying. About halfway through, I felt like nothing was happening. It got dull for me until Ringer came. I like Ben. Evan's creepy. It was interesting and I was going to give it 4 stars about three quarters through, but I just don't feel very much for Cassie or anyone. It was crazy and I got a little paranoid about trusting people but it still didn't feel like it was really happening, you know, like, it didn't get me there. You probably think I'm going Dorothy now.
