In The Storm, we follow Hannah Cardew. On the outside, people believe that Hannah married the perfect man. However behind the closed doors, it’s a very different story. Nathan controls everything Hannah does, but why does she let him? In Hannah's past, the events of one night changed everything, but the past is about to catch up with both of them.
I found the storyline between Hannah and Nathan very uncomfortable throughout the book due to his out of control behaviour, and I was really rooting for Hannah to get away somehow. There are plenty of twists and turns, none of which I guessed myself (the sign of a great thriller). I also loved the setting, as it was in Cornwall - one of my favourite places! If you love a thriller or a mystery, definitely pick up this read. I'm also going to check out Amanda Jenning's previous books, including The Cliff House!
I was kindly gifted this book from @hqstories to review and provide my honest opinion!
