Gus and Jen the two that aren’t related to a Montgomery and work at their security company. These 2 really needed their own story because the sexually tension between the 2 of them was almost comical. Glad that they finally got their act together and stopped denying what everyone else already knew was happening/going to happen between these two. This book was a nice novella that gave just enough about these 2 that we didn’t need to be like I wonder what if.. Enjoyed the read.

This novella is perfect for Jennifer and Gus.
We have seen a slow burn between these two in the background of previous Montgomery Ink Legacy books and in the book we see that burn ignite.
It still has the emotional journey filled with twists that we expect in a book from Carrie Ann Ryan so don't let the fact that it is a novella stop you from one clicking it.

By now I know anything to do with the Montgomerys is going to be a great ride, even if it is a short story. This one is a short but really sweet read. It follows Gus and Jennifer, who work for the Montgomery security business (AKA with Ford and Noah from Best Friend Temptation). Now while this is a stand alone, I would recommend reading Best Friend Temptation before this one, if you want a little bit of background on the characters, but you don’t have to to enjoy this one. There as been sparks between Gus and Jennifer a long time, and when it finally comes to a head it changes both their lives forever. I’m excited to see what happens next in this series.

This is Gus and Jennifer’s story. They both work for a security firm the Montgomery’s have. They both work events and installation of security systems for clients. Some of the jobs they take on include risks but both understand what it takes to do their job and both love everything about it.

However being around each other for a year, training, working events together and being in the office together the chemistry between them only grows stronger and intensified between them.

Overall, it’s a quick read complete with an HEA. I loved Gus Gus and Jennifer can’t wait to see what the author gives us next.

Quick  Novella! Awesome read!! Gus and Jennifer work at Montgomery Security together. They are attracted to one but they work together they becomes friends instead of acting on their feelings, One night after a difficult day they decide to go for it what the heck, it was going to be just one time, but since they are friends and they work together in a  job that isn’t so easy things keeping escalating. You can imagine how things go with the Montgomery’s even though they aren’t family this is a fun, quick read you should deff get. You should deff get this short story and if you haven’t read the rest of the series jump on it!!!!

This is book 4.5 in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series and part of the 1001 Dark Nights collection. This book features Gus and Jennifer. They both work for Montgomery Security and make an awesome team. It’s time they put that amazing chemistry towards scratching that itch, if you know what I mean. Will Gus be able to tell Jen how he feels before it’s too late? I love these two! They just mesh so well together. This is a quick, fun and steamy story. Even though they aren’t Montgomerys, it’s another fantastic story in the Montgomery world. I can’t wait for more!

A novella featuring two colleagues insanely attracted to each other. Will one night be enough? Carrie Ann Ryan always knows how to pluck at my heartstrings.

This is a friends to lovers’ story that will grab your attention and not let go. I enjoyed meeting Gus and Jennifer. Their story is a quick but has a lot to say. I loved how strong they both were yet how their emotions took center stage and made them take a second look at their relationship. The two are good together and it was nice to see their friendship grow into something more. It was nice to see the way these two work through everything to find what they truly want. This is a nice addition to the world that this author has created for the Montgomery’s and their friends.
