Gus and Jennifer have been attracted to one another since they started working together over a year ago, but instead of acting on their feelings they became friends in addition to being co-workers and even partners on several Security Details. Then one night they decide to throw caution to the wind and have a passion filled encounter and only one night not two or three, just the one to get it out of their systems. Well, you can imagine how that went especially when they are working together on a job where things don't go as easily as they should.
This was a fun quick read about Gus and Jennifer, two people that work for Montgomery Security that aren't related to the family. Crazy I know since there are so many Montgomery's LOL but others do work with them and we do occasionally get their stories too, just like this one. So a HUGE Thank you to 1,001 Dark Nights & Blue Box Press and of course to Carrie Ann Ryan for giving us this story that we may not have gotten otherwise. One of the great things about this Novella is that if you haven't read this series or even any of Carrie Ann Ryan's books before this can be read as a standalone and gives you a little taste of the authors work.
