Read this if predictable Hallmark Christmas movies are your jam.

It was fine.
Everyone made this book sound a lot more spicy and funnier than it was.
The romance was okay but the plot itself... I've read it before and better. Still a cute book.

TW: mentions of miscarriage.

You don't have to read the Bailey Brothers series to enjoy How the Grump Saved Christmas, but you will definitely get more enjoyment because you will get to go back to one of the best fictional towns, Tilikum, Washington. You will also get to re-meet Elias, Isabelle, Annika and Levi that you have met in Rewriting the Stars. Elias and Isabelle have a complicated past and Elias's childhood was very sad. After a past tragedy (trigger warning for miscarriage), Elias becomes cold and hates the holidays until he goes back to Tilikum to attempt to buy Isabelle's family Christmas tree farm. This book has all of the feels, the heat, the swoony grumpy hero, and the strong heroine. I would recommend this.

I had to sneak one Christmas book in before the end of the year! Unfortunately this one just didn't hit for me. I might read some of the authors other stuff, but this one was just too long and repetitive
