I was hoping for a book mainly about the trial/crime with the affair in the background. That is not what I got. The writing was boring, sometimes cringy, and it just felt incomplete. I was just skipping through the parts between c-2 and f-17 just to hear about the trial. Also, the second part was soooo boring. Glad this was a quick read.

The juiciest thing I've read in a long time, and it's not close. Gripping, wrenching, tragic. Smart, too. I had to keep covering the rest of the page with my hand so my eyes wouldn't skip ahead (and I cried twice).

Such an interesting and unique story. I loved the writing, it was strangely impersonal - I mean we don’t even get names until part two - but somehow really worked for me. The characters are complex and flawed. Definitely worth the read!

This book is deeply smart, incredibly unnerving, and I honestly don't know what to think. I hated it for how it made me feel but couldn't put it down. Therefore, I think that must mean that it was good.

It's fine. It was easy to read, but the second part was so disappointing.
