4.5 stars. I think this has become my fave Nora book so far! This romantic suspense takes place in NC which was fun to read about and was so so good! And not just because they made some good Sense & Sensibility references. I called the twist for the end early on but even with that, I enjoyed it. Great way to start the new month.

I enjoyed reading about Zane and Darby and Zane’s family. It’s a little bit hard to believe that so many unrelated bad things could happen to two people in such a short period of time... but I don’t read romance novels for their realism!

As much as I love this book, I felt like a good one-third of it were fillers. Infact, it would have been much better if the middle-third was simply cut out.
