Sad as I love this series but this one just felt unnecessarily long!

It feels poignant that I started The Missing Sister before we knew about Lucinda and finished it only a few days after she passed away. Honestly I loved the book! I loved the history behind Merry and how in-depth Lucinda went behind the history of Cumman Na Mban and the division between Northern Ireland and the south - highly accurate and so rarely known about in this extent outside of Ireland.

The story ended how I expected, with some questions answered and many more new ones, especially because it feels like some of the sisters stories aren’t quite finished yet… And the many unknowns about Pa Salt… more than ever to be honest. I hope if there is a book 8 in the future, that it does tie everything up neatly. I think The Seven Sisters series truly deserves a good ending, especially after all these years.

Thank you Lucinda for seven enchanting, wonderful, interesting and legacy novels with seven sisters 8 years ago. Your stories will be treasured and passed on like folklore by those who adore them always.
