Not entirely a book, it is half a story (about Tom's vacation) and half an activity book. While I did have fun reading it, quite a few of the activities aren't ones I can do as I got this book from the library. I also had expected a full story so I was slightly disappointed about it. Still, after a while I was looking forward to the activities and seeing what is next. For most I liked the crafts/creative things. I wasn't a fan of the one on how to do that table of 9.
Plus, sorry I think that Tom should have a bit more respect for his sister. Instead of snooping what she is reading, not giving a fuck that Rooster is in her ROOM when she is allergic (I have an allergy too for feathers and cat/horse hair/dust/you know what and it is a PAIN and I get eczema, my asthma flairs up, and oh yes, my eyes feel like they hurt like hell, and some other things), making mean drawings. I also found it a bit mean of the parents to expect their daughter to just scrap her own FREE morning for her brother. I get that everyone needed to help out since one of the parents was an idiot with the date, but you daughter is in college and definitely deserves a bit of free time when she gets that.
The ending was abrupt and sudden. I would have liked to see a bit more about that part because now it just feels cut-off as if someone forgot the next few pages.
Not sure if I will be reading the next book, I don't know I am just getting less and less enthusiastic about this series. This being a lot of activities and less story is also not helping, though helping my decision for not continuing.
