I liked this one a little more than the first book, the snakes are a fun addition.
Montgomery is such a lovely character, shame he didn't last long.

I’m starting to feel conflicted about whether these books are really appropriate for kids to read? Obviously the joke is that they’re dark but I feel like maybe taking children to a dark sad place and never levelling that out effectively is maybe not good and that’s maybe why kids books aren’t like this usually? I am just trying to find out how this series ends finally… mission continues…

Even though I haven't seen the movie adaptation since it first came out, I was definitely picturing the actors that played the roles especially Jim Carrey and his Stephano accent. I enjoyed the second one and definitely looking forward to the rest.

Such quick reads!!!!

I liked this one, but not as much as the first one. The snake and sunny were the best characters in this one, and while it was fun at times I definitely got bored quickly in others (usually when an adult was being dumb as hell)
