This was a fun, humorous alien romance and adventure. Jack is a strong, funny heroine. I love that she's a 6'6" woman/werewolf (though you find out even more about what werewolves really are in the story.) She's tough and will mess anyone up who messes with her or the people she cares about. 

Her alien love interest is scary looking, but a sweetheart. 

I love that Jack had friends in this. It's not like some alien romances where the love interests are isolated from everyone, and I liked that a lot. 

My main complaint is that this ends in a cliffhanger. There's no HEA, until hopefully the next book.

The book had some pacing issues, but overall the story was very original and interesting.
The gore and violence was sometimes a bit much and a bit too graphic, but easily skipped. 
Ohem and Jack were a great couple and I liked that she was just super strong and could definitely hold her own next to him.
