I cant recommend this book enough. It’s an emotionally triggering, mess of turmoil. This book follows a “girl” struggling to get her father’s approval and just to hear him say “she’s a hero”. However, throughout The Women. Frances also known as Frankie becomes her true self and through many trial And tribulations she finds herself and through hardships she comes out the other side as a better person despite all her struggles. I felt like woman quotes and scenarios were so easily relatable and couldn’t put this book down.  Please check your trigger warnings if you are one who has them. Also, get tissues if you’re a crier.

Wow. Kristen Hannah has once again blown my expectations out of the water. She is truly a wonderful author and storyteller. I am not a fan of historical fiction but I will always pick up one from her. She made me feel like I was experiencing the story with the characters. And I truly respect the way she researches by including people who have experience with the subject and using their input to make changes to the story in order to make it historically accurate. I would recommend this book to all! If I could rate it 6/5 I would.

Not my usual read, but it was recommended by a client and I actually really loved it. I found myself wanting to keep picking it back up to read. It’s informative and captivating, even if you’re like me and aren’t someone interested in war themes.

100000000/5 stars. This is my new favorite book ever. Kristin Hannah is a wizard. I have thought about this book everyday since reading it.
I was still hoping Ry would turn it around
but I am so happy with how Frankie's story ended. I cried so many times through this whole book. SO MUCH!
