My opinion:
Growing up, I usually read sci-fi, thrillers or YA and reading Sophie Kinsella got me interested in the romance, especially when there is more comedy than romance (I was very prejudiced against romance books in the past, but look at me now haha) . This is great chick lit, it completely reminds me of '00s romantic comedy movies where the main character is fun and quirky and creates crazy, confusing situations just for the sake of a fun narrative. But the love triangle and the TW aspect (plus the swearing) might not be to everyone's cup of tea and I would understand if some people don't like it. I had to read it again because I have a terrible memory, but this book is as fun as I remember and I still like it.

TW: Cheating, Grief

I honestly enjoyed the story but goodness Poppy gave me sooooo much secondhand embarrassment and was so irritating sometimes. She was self-righteous and didn’t know how to mind her own business. I know it’s fun to say women are never wrong, but god she was wrong a lot.

The last thing I want to note is that the way Sam confessed to Poppy was so sweet <3333333

This was cute! I really liked poppy as our main character she was funny. The romance was cute even though it didn’t get flirty till like 70ish percent. I also really liked the concept. I do wish we got to see more of her and her brothers because they were funny. Overall this was a cute light hearted book and I do recommend it.
