Very minor mentions of parental death many years prior to the events of the novel that honestly are nothing. A couple of the relationships depicted in the book are a bit dodgy but typical of romcoms (e.g. - people are not with the right partner) and it all comes to a head before the end of the book.

I honestly enjoyed the story but goodness Poppy gave me sooooo much secondhand embarrassment and was so irritating sometimes. She was self-righteous and didn’t know how to mind her own business. I know it’s fun to say women are never wrong, but god she was wrong a lot. 

The last thing I want to note is that the way Sam confessed to Poppy was so sweet <3333333
