I really enjoyed reading this book! I think it had some wonderful themes on self confidence, the need for communication, and what it means to stay true to yourself. Now, there were some issues with the ethics of big business and it definitely could’ve used more critique of the abuses inherent to the corporate environment. All in all, I think this is a fun book which reads like a good romcom movie but should be considered with a grain of salt

I honestly enjoyed the story but goodness Poppy gave me sooooo much secondhand embarrassment and was so irritating sometimes. She was self-righteous and didn’t know how to mind her own business. I know it’s fun to say women are never wrong, but god she was wrong a lot.

The last thing I want to note is that the way Sam confessed to Poppy was so sweet <3333333
