I would like to re read this book 100 times over to absorb every word, or at the very least, read it again and take notes. There is so much goodness in these pages, so much wisdom, so much love, and so much outrage and optimism (which is conveniently the name of their podcast)
I highly recommend this to anyone who’s maybe heard some things about climate change, but doesn’t really understand the full scope of it, or to anyone who’s passionate about it, and wants concrete steps that they can take in the next 10 years to choose a better future than the one we’re heading for right now.

Loved the beginning with the thought experiments regarding if we do and if we don’t. So thought provoking!

Wish I would have liked it more (a lot of the analogies I found to be a bit of a stretch, which I felt harmed their argument at times) but believe everyone should read it. It gives a holistic, interdisciplinary view of how to deal with climate change which many articles/books don’t (and they should) in addition to advice on how to become more conscious.

Very different than the other climate crisis books I’ve read in a good way. The authors really got their point across in so few pages which shows that they know their shit. It was interesting to hear from those who orchestrated the Paris agreement but also their opinions on how each of us can do something nothing is too big and nothing is too small
