'Black and iridescent, which could not be skimmed over.'

Fantastic, compelling and complex. I read this for my Expanding Queerness module and can't wait to discuss its themes of self, persona, memory, historicity and erasure. I'm sure I could read this book over and over and discover something new every time. There's so much in here - excellent character design, intricate thematic networks, multiple narrative modes, and a tightly-plotted mystery. Masterfully done.

I don't think I grasped everything? but enjoyed it nonetheless. I liked Mathilda and Erskine-Lily and Agnes a lot and was really amused by a lot of descriptions and the kind of humour used. Also, the queernees of it all! And I'm all here for scamming people/corporations to get by (especially if they're rich and/or shitty).
