Zetus lapetus this was out of this world fantastic!!

First off - can we talk about how amazing the cover is? I saw the cover come across my fyp and knew I needed to read Space for Love ASAP! I’m so glad I did because this book was amazing!! The vibes are cozy, swoony & spicy with a side of Star Trek, Undertaking of Hart and Mercy & Zenon all rolled into an intergalactic romcom!

This adorable story between a human starting over and a cinnamon roll alien is the perfect mix of of cozy fantasy and alien romance. Low stakes & high steam - resistance is futile - this book is a must read!

Space for love is an adorable slice of interstellar life packed with amazing bestie goals friendship, body positivity, pull at your heartstrings romance, sci-fi goodness, steam and alien technology. I absolutely loved this debut novel by Emily Antoinette and cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Thank you so much to Emily Antoinette for the arc!

Kind of waffling between 3.5 stars and 3.75 stars.

While I enjoyed this book... the characters didn't feel as developed/fleshed out as I wanted them to be. Sometimes they came off as incredibly young. And then the sex scenes kinda read like something I would've written as a teen 😅

But I did like it enough that I'll most likely check out other books by the author. They're easy reads 🤷🏻‍♀️

Something about me -- I love an alien romance with a fat FMC. I thought the plot was really sweet and cute, I love socially anxious characters figuring the world out, it was extremely spicy... loved it!

When I first delved into "Space for Love" and learned it was a "spicy alien romance," I didn't quite know what to expect. Little did I know that I was about to embark on an exhilarating literary journey that would leave me thoroughly captivated. This book not only tickled my imagination but also carried a refreshing representation of neuro-divergent characters, making it an exceptional read.

At the heart of the story is Fina, a plus-sized woman who finds herself in a remarkable position as the first human on a space station inhabited by diverse alien cultures. Her journey unfolds as she navigates a new job, new social norms, and unexpected encounters, all set against the backdrop of a mesmerizing alien world.

One of the most fascinating elements of the narrative is Fina's introduction to a pleasure simulator, a concept foreign to her as a human. Within this immersive experience, she encounters Breks, a captivating character who exists as a holographic simulation of his real self. Their connection is almost immediate and electric, setting the stage for a passionate and unconventional romance.

While "Space for Love" is brimming with excitement and passion, it does employ the miscommunication trope, which may be familiar to fans of the romance genre. However, this minor qualm doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment and charm of the story.

In conclusion, "Space for Love" is a delightful, romantic, and spicy take on intergalactic human-alien relationships. It's a book that will make you laugh, blush, and thoroughly relish every page. If you're in search of a story that blends humor, and sensuality, this book is your ideal companion. Just remember to consume alien liquids with caution—after all, you're about to embark on an unforgettable journey into the stars.
