Quite impressed - a great story of a young Black woman growing up in the institutionally racist UK, and the identity crisis and mental illness it can bring. Yrsa uses the free verse naturally without overdoing it! I will say it was incredibly harrowing and took some pauses to process but should be expected due to the nature of the book.
