I definitely didn’t enjoy this one as much as Angels and Demons. I don’t know whether that just means that I missed out on the hype or whether it just isn’t for me, but all I know is that it definitely didn’t grab me in the same way that Angels and Demons did.

I do remember hearing about the story from everyone who had read it and decided that it was fact without stopping to think about it or do any more research on the subject. And I also heard the arguments from the people who were shouting about it being untrue and just a work of fiction, so I don’t think I will ever be able to form an impartial opinion on it without remembering that.

I will say that it is action packed and if you just want that from the story then you’re in luck. But if you are someone who gets put off the plot by historical inaccuracies then you might want to sit this one out.

Despite having seen the movie before reading this book, I liked it. I wish I had read it earlier. Looking forward to reading Angels and Demons (which I should have read before this book).
