Quite and enjoyable book with a great story and good characters. Loved the state the world was in, the setting for most of the book, the characters and so on. Would recommend for any YA fans looking for a fun adventure that's not wrapped up in romance. Only wouldn't recommend to those weirdos who don't like books if they aren't "real". Which ugh, but that's another matter. Great book!

really? really? the ending here was as much a horrible let down as Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, the movie that should never have been made. I mean come on.
the beginning was good, which is why this got two stars instead of just one. Eleanor is a good hero- spunky, interesting, and just a bit flawed. the action is good,if a bit unbelievable. but then the last third of the book. sigh.

Exactly the kind of book I like: slightly futuristic disastery dystopia where everything is cold, kick-butt female lead, and sketchy science.
