like all of taylor jenkins reids books this book was kind of sad but i learned so many things
i also really liked the concept of this book (that the whole book was about one day)
it was kind of hard to read and to get into but i still really liked the book!
if you are looking for a sad, challenging and inspiring summer read, this book is perfect for you

A family-centered drama akin to Little Fires Everywhere, and a story I did not expect to love. Shocked me at some points, cathartic at others - I was so invested. A lovely surprise that reminds you - every family has their shit.

I really enjoyed the book and it was narrated very well. The characters were lovable and I found myself wanting to learn more about them. The writer is brilliant at character development. This book is most about the  generational trauma that the characters experience. I found it powerful and would recommend.
