The Liar's Wife follows Palmer Lewis, her husband and new-born son. Palmer begins to question various behaviors of her husband and son while she is at work. One day, she returns home to find them gone...is it for good? Who is lying to whom?
Yall! Yall! Yall! This is what you call an exceptional thriller! There was absolutely no room for predictions much less correct ones. This book made you question EVERYTHING TILL THE LAST MOMENT! If you are a fan of thrillers and/or mysteries, please do read this one. It focuses a lot on divorce, marriage, motherhood, true love, mental health, family, friendship and so much more. After finishing this book, I made a decision to BUY ALL of Kiersten Modglin's book! She is such an amazing writer. Her characters and plot are so well developed and balanced! More light needs to be shone onto her!
Ps. I appreciated the little spotlight that was placed on racism and how the police perceives a black man versus a white man. I also applaud the author for ensuring that Palmer responded very appropriately in the given situation.
